MAGENTO TO SHOPIFY MIGRATION SERVICESMagento to Shopify
Leave the patches, hosting bills and extension conflicts behind. We replatform your Magento or Adobe Commerce store to Shopify or Shopify Plus — catalog, customers, order history, content and search rankings — and launch without a gap in trading.
(Why brands leave Magento)
Less platform. More growth.
Magento is powerful, but most of that power costs developer time. Brands usually move when keeping the store running starts to crowd out improving it.
- 01
No more upgrade projects
Shopify ships updates and security fixes for you. No version upgrades, no security patches to apply, no PHP compatibility work.
- 02
Hosting is included
No servers, CDN or scaling to manage. Shopify handles traffic spikes like Black Friday on its own infrastructure.
- 03
Faster to change
Your team edits pages, sections and promotions without a developer. New features come from apps instead of custom modules.
- 04
Enterprise features on Plus
Unlimited B2B catalogs, checkout customization, Launchpad and expansion stores — on top of the B2B, Flow and Markets features every Shopify plan includes.
(What moves, and where it lands)
Magento → Shopify,
field by field
| IN MAGENTO | ON SHOPIFY | HOW WE HANDLE IT |
|---|---|---|
| Simple & configurable products | Products with variants | Options and variant limits checked in the audit; very large configurables are split or grouped |
| Bundle & grouped products | Shopify Bundles or a bundle app | Chosen by how bundles are priced and stocked |
| Custom attributes | Metafields & metaobjects | Kept filterable and visible on product pages |
| Categories | Collections (manual or automated) | Nested menus rebuilt in navigation |
| Customer groups & tier prices | Shopify B2B catalogs & price lists | Up to 3 catalogs on standard plans; unlimited on Shopify Plus |
| Store views / websites | Shopify Markets or expansion stores | Language, currency and domain per market |
| CMS pages & blocks | Pages, sections & metaobjects | Editable in the theme editor |
| Order history | Historical orders | Imported without sending emails to customers |
| Customer passwords | Passwordless sign-in | Passwords can’t move between platforms; customers sign in with a one-time email code instead |
| Gift cards & store credit | Shopify gift cards | Balances recreated (gift card import needs Shopify Plus) |

(Search rankings)
Keep your Google rankings
Magento lets you shape URLs freely; Shopify uses fixed paths such as /products/ and /collections/. That means almost every URL changes, and every one of them needs a 301 redirect to keep the traffic and links it has earned.
We crawl the live site before we start, map old URLs to new ones, import the redirects into Shopify and test them before launch. After go-live we watch Search Console daily and fix anything that slips.
- Crawl of every live URL, including products, collections, blog posts, filtered pages and PDFs
- One-to-one 301 redirect for every URL that has traffic or backlinks
- Page titles, meta descriptions, alt text and headings carried over
- Structured data (Product, Breadcrumb, Article) rebuilt on the new theme
- XML sitemap submitted in Google Search Console on launch day
- Rankings, 404s and crawl errors watched daily for the first 30 days

(FAQ)
Good
questions
Most mid-size stores take 6–10 weeks from audit to launch. Small catalogs with a standard theme can launch in 4–6 weeks; Adobe Commerce stores with B2B, several store views and ERP links usually take 3–6 months. We fix the timeline after the audit.
Not if redirects are done properly. Shopify changes your URL structure, so we create a 301 redirect for every indexed URL, carry over titles and descriptions, and monitor rankings after launch.
No platform can move passwords, because they are stored encrypted. On Shopify’s current customer accounts that doesn’t matter: customers sign in with their email and a one-time code, and see their imported order history.
Not always. Plus makes sense for high volume, many B2B price lists, checkout customization, multiple storefronts or advanced automation. We recommend the plan during the audit and explain why.
We list every extension and what it does, then replace each with a Shopify app, a built-in Shopify feature or a small custom app. Many become unnecessary.
Yes. Your Magento store keeps taking orders until launch day. We run a final sync of new orders and customers just before the switch.
Cost depends on catalog size, the number of integrations, custom features and whether the design is rebuilt or refreshed. You get a fixed-scope quote after a free consultation and audit.
